teotihuacan + xochimilco | mexico

travel July 7, 2014

It took me about three days to fully realise where I was, what surrounded me, and what was yet to come. I can pinpoint the exact moment – walking down the street, not far from la casa, stopping for a second before crossing the road and in that moment looking up and everything catching up with me. I was in Mexico and I was going to be travelling for the next three months – half of this time by myself!

I didn’t have much time to think about this more as I got swept up in the whirlwind of simply the most beautiful wedding, of two of my most favourite people, and the celebration and adventures in the days that followed – Teotihuacan, the canals of Xochimilco, and the buddymoon in Cancun!
